Fire Safety & Fire Awareness

Any material used within your site must be treated and rendered non-flammable and the storage of any flammable liquids or fuels within the halls is prohibited.

If there are any doubts about appliances that can be used at the expo, please contact Lauren D’Amato.

Please ensure exhibitors are not permitted to do the following:

• If there is fire-fighting equipment (i.e. hydrants) in or near your site please ensure there is at least 1 metre of clear space around it and it must be accessible.
• Designated fire exits (the actual signs) and the routes must not be obstructed in any way.
• Exhibitors are not allowed to store any equipment on the fire stairs.
• Exhibitors are not permitted to open any doors that lead to the fire stairs.
• All fire lanes around the venue must remain clear at all times.
• All No Build Zones and Clear areas (shaded in grey and light blue) must be kept clear.

Any ACT Fire and Rescue False Alarm call-out fees will be charged to the exhibitor who caused the call-out.

Smoking is prohibited in the indoor halls.

If you are planning on having an open fire on your site, please complete the form here and return to Lauren D’Amato, lauren.damato@cciansw.com.au, at least 4 weeks prior to the show.
