Outdoor Displays

All construction on outdoor areas must be FREE STANDING and weighted down correctly. Pegging is prohibited.

 

It is forbidden to dig or bore holes or drive spikes, whether for the purpose of anchoring structures or demonstrating equipment.

 

Flags and similar materials must be lowered each night and not replaced until after 8:30am each morning.

 

All outdoor exhibitors must provide their own protection against weather and will be liable for the condition of their own stand should it rain. If board flooring is used, it must be covered to prevent people slipping should it become wet.

 

Therefore, it is prudent, especially for exhibitors on grassed areas, to ensure that adequate flooring is laid prior to the commencement of the Expo and not wait for the wet weather to damage their stands. Please refer to the “Stand Building” section for more information.
