Electricity & Electrical Equipment Tagging & Power Leads
Electricity
ExpoNet have been appointed the official electrical contractors for the Expo. No other electrical contractor is allowed to work on site. If you require electricity on your stand, please fill out and return Electricity Form by Wednesday 17 June 2026.
You will have already received an Online Exhibitor Kit from ExpoNet, which includes the electricity form. If you have not received the kit, please call: (02) 9645 7070.
Any additional electrical requirements may be ordered through them. Any orders taken on-site will incur an additional charge and may not be able to be fulfilled because of power limitations.
The Expo Organisers do not supply power points with indoor shell scheme stands. Arrangements should be made directly with ExpoNet, our official contractor. No other electrician may connect to the Expo power supply.
All electrical fittings and extension power leads must display current test tags. If your testing is not up-to-date, please contact ExpoNet, and for a nominal fee, they will arrange to have your leads tested and tagged.
Every show we get calls from stands (Caravan Stands) regarding power failures. Usually, these problems are caused by unnecessary overloading – especially when air conditioners and urns are turned on. If not allowed for, items of this type cause a considerable power overload. If you need additional circuits for such items, then please bear this in mind when organising your electrical requirements with our electrical contractor.
Electrical Tagging & Power Leads
All equipment, fittings or material brought into the Expo may be subject to inspection by any CCIA staff, CCIA contractors or the Work Health & Safety Officer. If any such equipment is deemed not to comply with WHS regulations, nor be safe for any other reason whatsoever, it shall be removed from the Expo immediately at the expense of the exhibitor.
You MUST ensure that all electrical items used at the Expo have recently been tested & tagged.
