Outdoor Displays

All construction on outdoor areas must be FREE STANDING. The digging or boring of holes, or the driving of spikes, whether for the purpose of anchoring structures, or demonstration of equipment, is forbidden. If flagpoles are being used as part of a display, flags must be lowered each night.

All outdoor exhibitors must provide their own protection against weather and will be liable for the condition of their own stand should it rain. If board flooring is used it must be covered to prevent people slipping should it become wet. The Organisers will have contacts to provide these items but will not provide the manpower necessary nor will they cover costs.

It is therefore prudent, especially for exhibitors on grassed areas, to ensure that adequate flooring is laid prior to commencement of show and not wait for the wet weather to damage their stands.
